Dear Quizzing Families,
The
Heartland Tournament will be taking the place of the regular monthly Bible Quiz
Meet that usually takes place in
Two of the main purposes this year of having the Heartland Tournament are to provide both an encouraging atmosphere and an affordable tournament opportunity for all interested quizzers. It is encouraging in that less emphasis is put on the usual "quizzing intensity" of the national tournaments. It is also more affordable because we have omitted team costs and have chosen to host it in Stewartville, thereby eliminating hotel costs for many of the quizzing teams.
We
would also like to eliminate or minimize hotel needs for traveling teams by
providing host homes. If you would be
able and interested in this ministry opportunity, please indicate so by filling
out and returning the following information to Annette Raygor or contacting her
via phone or e-mail (ASAP!).
